DNP Photo Imaging Europe (DNP PIE), in its capacity as Data Controller, attaches paramount importance to the confidentiality of the personal information it collects and undertakes to comply with the applicable regulations regarding the processing of personal data, in particular the General Regulation (EU) n° 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data (known as the “RGPD”).

The purpose of this policy is to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information that you may actively or passively provide us through our website sharingbox.com (hereinafter referred to as, the “Site”).

We recommend you read carefully this policy before using our services.

1. What kind of personal data are we collecting about you?

When using our Site, you may be asked to provide us with information to benefit from our services (mandatory information is indicated by an asterisk (*), other information without an asterisk (*) are optional), some of which may identify you directly or indirectly (“Personal Data”). If you fail to fill in the obligatory boxes, your use of the Site may not be optimal or the responses to your requests not possible. This may include:

  • Data supplied when requesting contact or quotations: surname, first name and e-mail address, phone number, country, city, company name, job position, event city, event start date, marketing goals, as well as any information communicated in the message.
  • Data relating to your job applications: country, surname and first name, phone, email address, resumes and all information they contain.
  • Data relating to your use of the Site: browsing data that may identify your terminal (computer, telephone, tablet)  such as your terminal IP address, the type of browser and operating system used, as well as other information such as your Internet service provider, the website from which you visited our Site, the number of pages consulted and the time spent on each page of our Site, etc. This data is used to ensure the proper functioning of the Site, in particular its performance and security. It is also used to analyze visitor traffic, within the limits and under the conditions set out in this policy. 
  • Data relating to your request to exercise your rights: your surname, first name and contact details, as well as proof of identity if requested. 

2. How do we collect your personal data?

Your personal data is collected both passively and actively.

Passive collection: Information relating to your use of our Site is automatically collected when you interact with its functionalities. To this end, we use “cookie” technology to collect information about visitors.   • Measuring and analyzing the Site’s audience: We use your browsing data to measure and analyze the number of visitors to our Site. This processing is based on your consent.
  • Analysis of ads performance: When you access the Site via commercial ads links (“landing page”), we collect information enabling us to analyze ads performance. This processing is based on your consent.
  • Video content distribution: We offer video content that requires cookies to function. This processing is based on your consent.
  • Management of your requests to exercise your rights: This processing is based on our legal obligations arising from applicable data protection regulations.
  • Optimization of our Site: The use of browsing data is aimed at ensuring a suitable display on your device and guaranteeing smooth and secure browsing. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing you with a satisfactory and secure browsing experience. 

4. How long do we keep your personal data?

5. To whom are your personal data communicated?

The personal data we collect are only intended for Sharingbox’s services, each of them only treating data necessary to their missions.

Your personal data can also be accessed by our service providers, bound to confidentiality and security contractual obligations.

We do not transfer your personal data outside of Europe. We host the data on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and it is exclusively stored in Europe. We do not transfer your personal data to countries located outside of the European Economic Area.

Your personal data is used solely for internal purposes, and it is not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. How do we secure your personal data?

We are committed to ensuring the security of the data you entrust to us.

Sharingbox uses suitable security means to protect personal data from loss and theft, and also from illicit access, disclosure, copies, uses and modifications, within the following limits: it is impossible to fully guarantee the security of the Internet and the data sent to the Site, and it is impossible to act as a substitute for the precautions that you have to take (it is up to you to take all precautions necessary to ensure the confidentiality of your passwords and avoid disclosing them to any person not authorized to use them).

Our employees are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations and must comply with an internal guidelines for the proper use of the information system.

We also check that our subcontractors offer sufficient guarantees in terms of security and confidentiality.

In addition, if we become aware that a breach of your personal data for which we are responsible presents a high risk to your privacy, we will inform you as soon as possible so that you can take all the necessary precautions to limit the consequences (changing your passwords, etc.).

7. What are your rights?

Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, subject to meeting the conditions laid down by these provisions, you have the right to:

  • Rectify inexact, out-of-date, incomplete data
  • Request your data erasure
  • Request your data portability, if this is technically possible
  • Request the limitation to the processing of your data
  • Object at any time, for any personal reason, to the processing of your data
  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for a specific purpose prior based on this consent
  • Define advance directives concerning your data after your death.

To enable you to exercise these rights, we may ask you to provide proof of identity, where there is reasonable doubt as to the identity of the applicant. In this case, the copy of the proof of identity is not kept beyond the time required for verification. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and always under the timeframes set forth by applicable data protection law. Please note that we may need to retain certain of your personal data for certain purposes as required or authorized by law.
