DNP Photo Imaging Europe (DNP PIE), as Data Controller, attaches paramount importance to the confidentiality of the personal information it collects and undertakes to comply with the applicable regulations on personal data processing, in particular EU General Regulation No. 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (the “GDPR”). 

This policy aims to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information you may provide to us, actively or passively, through our website sharingbox.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

When using our Website, you may be asked to provide us with information in order to benefit from our services (mandatory information is indicated by an asterisk (*), other information without an asterisk (*) is optional), some of which may identify you directly or indirectly (“Personal Data”).   • Data relating to your use of the Website: browsing data that may identify your device (computer, phone, tablet) such as the IP address of your device, the type of browser and operating system used, as well as other information such as your Internet service provider, the website from which you visited our Website, the number of pages consulted and the time spent on each page of our Website, etc. This data is used to ensure that the Website functions properly, including in terms of its performance and security. It is also used to analyze visitor traffic, within the limits and under the conditions defined in this policy. 
  • Data relating to your request to exercise your rights: your first name, last name and contact details, as well as proof of identity if requested.

Passive collection: Information relating to your use of our Website is automatically collected when you interact with its features.   • Managing contact requests: This processing activity is based on DNP PIE’s legitimate interest in responding to contact requests.

5. To whom is your personal data disclosed?

The personal data we collect is intended solely for DNP PIE’s departments, each of which only processes the data necessary for their missions.

Your personal data may also be accessible by our service providers, bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations. 

Our service providers may include: 

  • Website hosting provider 
  • Website design provider 
  • Website maintenance provider 
  • Website audience analysis services (including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, published by Microsoft) 
  • Advertising performance analysis services 
  • Video content display services 

We host part of our data and services within infrastructures located in Europe. However, some of our technical providers, including audience and browsing analysis services such as Microsoft

Clarity, may process or store certain personal data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States.

In such cases, these transfers are governed in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations and are subject to appropriate safeguards, where applicable, in particular through mechanisms recognized by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. 

Certain providers, such as Google and Microsoft, may collect and process data for their own purposes in accordance with their own privacy policies, when acting as separate data controllers. 

Your data is not sold to third parties. Some of our technical providers, particularly Google and Microsoft, may process certain data as part of the services they provide; when a transfer outside the EEA occurs, it is governed by the appropriate safeguards stipulated by the GDPR. 

6. How do we secure your personal data?

We undertake to guarantee the security of the data you entrust to us. 

DNP PIE uses appropriate security measures to protect personal data against loss and theft, as well as against unlawful access, disclosure, copies, uses and modifications, within the following limits: it is impossible to guarantee total security of the Internet and data sent to the Website, and it is impossible to substitute the precautions that you must take (it is your responsibility to take all necessary precautions to ensure the confidentiality of your passwords and to avoid disclosing them to any person not authorized to use them). 

Our employees are subject to contractual confidentiality obligations and must comply with an internal charter for the proper use of the information system. 

We also verify that our subcontractors offer sufficient guarantees in terms of security and confidentiality. 

Furthermore, if we become aware of a breach of your personal data for which we are responsible and which presents a high risk to your privacy, we will inform you as soon as possible so that you can take all necessary precautions to limit the consequences (change of passwords, etc.). 

7. What are your rights?

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, subject to fulfilling the conditions stipulated by these provisions, you have the right to:

  • Request information on the existence and characteristics of personal data processing 
  • Rectify inaccurate, obsolete or incomplete data 
  • Request the deletion of your data 
  • Request the portability of your data, if technically possible 
  • Request the restriction of processing of your data

  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for a specific purpose that was previously based on said consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on consent given before withdrawal 
  • Define advance directives regarding your data after your death. 

To enable you to exercise these rights, we may ask you to provide proof of identity, where there is a reasonable doubt as to the identity of the applicant. In this case, the copy of the proof of identity is not retained beyond the time necessary for verification. We will endeavor to respond to your request within the shortest reasonable time and always within the deadlines stipulated by applicable data protection legislation. Please note that we may need to retain some of your personal data for certain purposes, as required or permitted by law.
